For Pride month the University is hosting a Beds Talk with Lisa Wainright in Luton. Wednesday 8 June at 17.30
Lisa was ranked number 8 in the Top 100 Executive LGBT+ Allies by FT OUTStanding, became an Ambassador for Women on Boards UK as well as being awarded Women CEO of the year alongside being awarded an Honorary Doctorate for Bedfordshire University. Lisa is now the CEO of the Sport and Recreation Alliance. In 2021, Lisa was awarded an MBE for her services to sport in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
